The Country Bounty's consistent high standards to high quality food and service have resulted in our being one of the busiest restaurants in this region of Colorado. Evidence of our quality can be found in the many awards and honors that Country Bounty has received throughout the years as 1st place in the "Taste of Colorado" contest in 1985 for best dessert pastry, Chamber of Commerce "business of the Month" in September 1990, "Business of the Year" in 1990, and more recently the Dawson and Associates World Tour Guide Award for exceptional dining (which was only awarded to three Colorado restaurants). In December 2001, the Salida Chamber of Commerce named the Country Bounty Restaurant & Gift Shoppe Business of the Month.
